In addition to your federal resume, you also need to construct a comprehensive oral and written exam-like examination covering your entire career history. In most cases, candidates who pass the initial round of testing, are invited to take a final examination. Candidates who do not pass this examination are required to complete an additional two years of education before they are considered for federal sector jobs. Both types of exams require a significant amount of time and focus, which are not usually possessed by most first-time candidates.
